Job Description:
We are seeking an ambitious, self-driven Senior Business Development Manager to establish and grow our presence in the US Software and Data markets. This role is ideal for someone with experience in building a client base from scratch within the US market and a deep understanding of the Software and Data industry. Your primary focus will be to win new business, develop client relationships, and place high-calibre tech talent across the East and Central USA time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion: Drive our growth in the US by identifying, targeting, and securing new clients within the Software, Data, and Machine Learning sectors.
- Business Development: Build and maintain a pipeline of clients from scratch, including startups, tech firms, and established enterprises across the East and Central regions.
- Client Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients to become their trusted recruitment partner.
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Collaborate with our recruitment delivery team to ensure the best match between clients' requirements and top talent in the software and data markets.
- Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands in the US tech landscape to identify new business opportunities.
- Consultative Selling: Understand client needs, provide tailored recruitment solutions, and position our agency as the go-to partner for tech recruitment in the US.
- Achievement-Oriented: Consistently hit or exceed targets and KPIs for new client acquisition, revenue growth, and placements.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in recruitment business development, with a successful track record of building a client base in the US market, particularly in the Software, Data, or Tech sectors.
- US Market Expertise: A deep understanding of the Software and Data recruitment market in the East and Central US, including the unique challenges and opportunities.
- Sales Mindset: A natural ability to open doors, pitch services, and negotiate terms, combined with a passion for winning new business.
- Client-Focused: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a consultative approach to meet clients' hiring needs.
- Results-Driven: Self-motivated with a hunter mentality, capable of working independently to achieve sales targets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and candidates effectively.
- Location & Flexibility: Based remotely with the ability to work flexible hours to align with US East and Central time zones.
