SOURCING SPECIALIST

💸 Monthly Salary : £1250 - £1800

🕛 Working Hours: Full time, UK hours

Summary of role: 

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and building relationships with sources that meet the organization's goals. The Sourcing Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and cost-effective acquisition of resources while maintaining quality and compliance standards.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Identify potential sources based on organizational needs and specifications.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess suitability, quality, and capacity.
• Build and maintain a robust database of reliable sources.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for sourcing-related inquiries.
• Monitor and manage ongoing performance, addressing any issues or improvements needed
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and deliverables to align with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate on agreements that ensure mutual benefit and long-term partnerships.
• Work with internal teams to finalize and formalize contracts or agreements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance sourcing strategies.
• Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes.
• Implement systems to track and measure sourcing performance and outcomes.
• Partner with internal teams to understand their needs and specifications.
• Align sourcing efforts with broader organizational goals and objectives.
• Support cross-functional initiatives to improve sourcing processes and efficiency.

Skills & Experience required: 

• Experience in a sourcing or related role, with a track record of successful partnerships.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and sourcing technologies is a plus.
